U8 Travel Soccer Team
Program Description
While our home is in Brooklyn, Futbol Rebels U8 Travel Teams begin to have their first experience playing games against other clubs in NYC.
The U8 Travel Team builds on foundational skills, introducing structured team play and competition. Players begin to learn positioning, teamwork, and basic tactics through small-sided games (4v4).
Our focus is on individual skill development, fun and fostering confidence and passion for soccer.
Players are introduced to league play vs other clubs in nyc.
Age Group
- U8 - Players Born in 2017
Fall & Spring Schedule
- Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4-5:30pm
- At Taaffe Playground on Taaffe between Myrtle & Park Ave
- 4v4 league games around the 5 boroughs
Winter Schedule
- Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4-5:30pm
- At Siloam Presbyterian Church on Jefferson & Marcy Ave
- Indoor league game (location tbd)
Commitment
- This is a 10 month commitment from September-June
Registration Fee
- $2,100 for the season plus uniforms
- Uniform fees vary between $250-$400 and uniforms need to be bought once every two years. Players are required to purchase 2 game jerseys, 1 practice jersey, 2 shorts, 2 socks, 1 training pant, 1 training jacket, 1 team backpack
