House rules

Play hard.
Play fair.

Code of conduct

Every captain signs the code of conduct for the team. Fighting means ejection and a minimum two-game ban.

Flat indoor shoes

Our indoor court is a wooden floor, so indoor flat soles only. No cleats or turf shoes on the court.

Standings

Indoor soccer rules. 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw. Ties are broken by head-to-head, then goal difference, goals scored and fewest cards.

Adult indoor soccer league: 18 and over only

This is an adult league. Every player must be 18 or older, and we may ask for ID at check-in. Kids and teens can play in our youth futsal league instead.

Rotating kickoffs

Team numbers are drawn after registration closes, and kickoff times rotate, so nobody is always first or last on the day.

Every team pays for every game

If your team doesn’t show

  • Forfeit loss, recorded 3–0.
  • That week’s $100 comes out of your deposit, and it must be topped back up to $200 before your next game.
  • A second no-show means removal from the league.

If your opponent doesn’t show

  • You get the 3–0 win.
  • You keep the court for the full hour with the ref.
  • Scrimmage it out, or play free agents and anyone else in the gym.

A no-show means not on the court, or fewer than 3 players, 10 minutes after kickoff.

Questions

Indoor soccer league FAQ.

Who can play in the indoor soccer league?

Any player 18 or older. Bring a full team of up to 10 players, or join as a free agent and we will place you on a team that needs players. Every player signs a waiver before their first game.

Where are indoor soccer league games played?

At the Futbol Rebels Clubhouse, 260 Jefferson Ave in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, on our wooden indoor court. Games are 5v5 and played with indoor soccer rules.

How much does the indoor soccer league cost?

There is no registration fee. Teams pay a $100 referee fee per game. A $200 deposit holds your spot and covers your last two league games.

Who pays for the team in the indoor soccer league?

Each team has one captain who handles payments for the whole team. Captains collect from their teammates however they like, and we deal with the captain only.

When are payments due in the indoor soccer league?

The $200 deposit is due at registration. After that, the $100 ref fee is charged automatically to the captain’s card on file on the Friday before each of the first five league games. The deposit covers rounds 6 and 7.

How do we pay for the indoor soccer league?

All payments are made online with a card saved at registration, so there is nothing to remember each week. We don’t collect cash at the gym.

What if a payment doesn’t go through?

If the Friday charge is declined, we’ll let the captain know right away. The ref fee has to be paid before kickoff on Sunday, or the team can’t play that week.

How are playoffs and friendlies paid in the indoor soccer league?

Playoff games are the same $100 ref fee per team, charged only to teams that make the playoffs, before each round. Preseason friendlies are paid when you book, and don’t touch your deposit.

I’m a free agent. How do I pay?

Email or WhatsApp us and we’ll place you on a team that needs players. Once you’re on a roster, you pay your share to that team’s captain.
